Description:  An annual that is an extremely valuable plant for attracting doves, quail, or ducks. Timing of planting can be an important consideration with brown top millet because seeds mature about 60 days after germination. Consequently, if brown top is planted too early, all the seed may be gone before the season begins. Therefore small plantings should be made at different intervals to stagger your seed production and availability times. With a heavier concentration toward the typical migratory patterns conducive to your area.Planting should be in time to provide two weeks feeding prior to the season, this will allow birds ample time to associate the food available frost. Seeding Rate of 25-30 lbs.
