Description:
A perennial turf type Buffalo grass developed for a diverse range of climates and geographical regions. Considered to be very low maintenance, dense fine textured. A sod forming perennial warm season grass native to North America. Buffalo grass will green up early in the spring, and with the first freeze will turn a buff brown color and go dormant. Often selected for its ability to require little water once established, low growth habits. Performs well in the midwest. Must be planted when the soils are consistently above 60 degrees. A seeding rate of 1 – 3 lbs per 1000 square feet.
