Crimson Clover
Description:  An upright winter annual legume used for prairies, haying and pastures. It will thrive in both sandy and clayey soils and does better than other clovers in poor soil conditions. It is fast growing and competes well with winter annual weeds. It also grows well at low temperatures. Seedings should take place from mid to late summer to be the most effective. Seeding rate of 15 to 20 pounds per acre.
