Deer Turnip Mixture
Description:  An imported turnip from the United Kingdom capable of producing large amounts of valuable forage for 12 weeks. A large purple globe shaped root provides valuable forage for deer, the tops also produce a fantastic late season forage as well. This plant has whole leaves that retain their color and have good tolerances to foliar diseases. Capable of producing 38,000 – 40,000 lbs/acre. Crude protein levels at 19 – 20% from the leaves. You can't afford not plant this product, deer will dig, scrape, root and destroy the earth to get to these gems of nature. Seeded at a rate of 7 - 10 lbs per acre. Easy to establish and can be seeded into open areas very easily. Only available in 15 lb bags.
