Forage Annual Ryegrass
Description:  A cool season, short lived annual bunch type ryegrass. Offering high levels of digestible carbohydrates, which increase weight gain and milk production in lactating does. It’s extensively well developed root system supports additional top growth and provides a clean palatable forage source. Noted to have fair drought tolerance, but poor shade tolerance, performs best in full sun areas. Spring and late summer are ideal planting times. Plant 35 – 40 lbs per acre if broadcast and 30 – 35 lbs/acre if drilled.
