Description:  A perennial prairie grass that produces a magnificent fountain of emerald green leaves. It adds a touch of elegance to any landscape setting. Often considered to be the most handsome of all the prairie grasses. Known for a variety of landscaping uses. Makes a well defined border when planted 18-24 inches apart. The seed heads have a faint but unmistakable fragrance that can be detected by some people. Excellent for revegatation work and stabilization. Will colonize to a natural setting. A seeding rate of 5 P.L.S. pounds per acre.
