Description:  A annual that is capable of producing large amounts of forage with little soil preparation and supplemental help. Developed for its ability to produce excellent quality late season forage from leafy growth. Plant is designed to provide mainly leafy growth with little focus on root formation. Roots have been noted to provide digestible feed matter late into the winter months. A cool season crop that is widely adapted, imported from the United Kingdom. Can be seeded directly into a previous crop stubble. Seeding rate of 8-12 lbs per acre.
